Alejandro Karo is a mexican composer from Hermosillo, Sonora, México.
Karo formally enters the world of music at age 10 with maestro Felipe García with whom he studies classical guitar with, at age 14 he studied piano with teacher Jesús David Camalich and Alfonso Cabrera. At age 17 he studies musical composition in different courses, during his career at the University of Sonora and during that time is when he discovers his fascination for film music.
In 2014 the renowned British magazine CMUSE published a note on the premiere of his piano work titled "A Cute Difference" in which they referred to the young composer as a "Talented mexican composer of minimalist music."
He also has worked in concert music, electronic music, television, theatre, ballet, commercials and contemporary dance, as well as editing music scores for some orchestras in México.
His credits include mexican films like "Deseo Deseo" (2016), "Mis Demonios Nunca Juraron Soledad" (2017), "Jesús de Nazaret" (2019) among other mexican film projects.
