Furio Valitutti was born in Rome in 1974. He completed his guitar studies at S. Pietro a Majella Conservatory and composition at S. Cecilia Conservatory. He has composed various main title credits for italian national television (RAI) programs, including "Nel segno del giallo", "Inside the world", "Divieto di sosta", music for documentaries that appeared in tv-shows like "Voyager" and "Alle falde del Kilimangiaro".

He has written music for plays such as "Vespucci, l'impresa italiana nel nuovo mondo" with Alessio Boni and Globensemble, "Carte di bordo", "La magia di Spoon River", "Vero West" by F. Bonelli, "Il mondo è una palla" with Piera degli Esposti and Valerio Mastandrea. "Th3 pit"is his first feature film soundtrack, after numerous works for short and medium-length films including "Attimi di fuga" by U. Innocenzi with Giancarlo Giannini, "La foglia perfetta", "Cinque note", "Ho scelto me" by P. Budassi Frajese.
